CORRECTION

ADDENDUM

This investigation establishes only that the product of the assay is N5N10-methenyltetrahydrofolic acid. The immediate product of the dehydrogenase could be N10-formyl- or N5N10-methenyltetrahydrofolic acid, which are interconvertible by the enzyme cyclohydrolase. (Osborn, M. J., and Huennekens, F. M. (1957).
