About the Cover
Cover illustration: Clusia minor performs C3-photosynthesis and Crassulacean acid metabolism (CAM) simultaneously in two opposite leaves. CAM is only induced by high irradiance in the UV-A/blue light range, while red light is not effective for the high light-induced C3/CAM switch. (See Grams and Thiel, pp. 1475-1483.)
