Cover Figure

Cover illustration: The pepper (Capsicum sp.) harbours the most evolved carotenoid biosynthetic pathway among plants. The colours of the fruit change due to alterations in the carotenoid composition during ripening. The images show the range of fruit colour, from white to deep red, at different ripening stages of diverse Capsicum varieties.
